Commonly used in Indian cooking, garam masala is a blend of Indian spices, perfect for making garam masala curries and adding spice to dishes to make it have that extra kick.
This spice is also found in a number of different cuisines like Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, and Caribbean cuisines, making it a very versatile ingredient. Garam masala gets its name from the Hindi definition, which translates to “hot mixture of spices”.
