About Beetroot Powder

Beetroot powder is very versatile, it can add both colour and flavour to any dish it is combined with. It is made from the whole root of the vegetable, therefore, has the same earthy taste as beetroot and retains all of the fibre, vitamins and minerals.

Beetroot powder provides a pink colour to food, making it a brilliant alternative to food colouring in dishes such as Tandoori or red velvet chocolate cake. Not only that, it is naturally sweet which makes it the perfect addition to smoothies for a pop of colour, nutrients and sweetness.

Although, please note that it is not as sweet as beetroot juice powder. This is made from the whole root vegetable whereas beetroot juice powder is made from the juice of the vegetable only.
